Rwanda: Genocide and the Politics of Non-Intervention

image The AUPPA and the French Club present “Rwanda: Genocide and the politics of Non-Intervention”, a lecture on the 1994 genocide in Rwanda and the international community’s unwillingness to intervene.

The event will include the testimony of Marie Leinualda Munyakazi, genocide survivor, as well as a lecture by Jean-Francois Angevin Romey, Politico Military Analyst and former investigator of the International Criminal Court for Rwanda. Mr. Romey will discuss the inability and unwillingness of the international community to act to stop the genocide and will also discuss whether or not the politics of non-intervention have changed since 1994.
